Maus Nissan’s Pet of the Week: Hollyhock
**Adoption Fee Waived
She can’t hear your voice — but she’ll feel your love.
Meet Hollyhock, a 5-year-old American Bulldog mix who’s deaf, but deeply in tune with the kindness around her. At ~55–60 lbs, she’s gentle, calm, and quietly yearning for a home where she can finally exhale.
🐾 She walks beautifully on leash.
🐾 She’s polite with friendly dogs.
🐾 She’s nervous at first, but give her space — and she’ll give you trust.
🐾 She’s not comfortable around young kids, but older children who understand her gentle nature will be her allies.
🐾 She’s spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and comes with a 1-year county license.
Despite medication, Hollyhock is visibly stressed in the shelter. But outside her kennel, she’s a different dog — soft, sweet, and ready to connect.
She doesn’t need loud love. She needs quiet understanding.
She doesn’t need perfect. She needs patient.
She doesn’t need a second chance. She needs her first real one.
Come meet Hollyhock. Let her show you how love speaks without sound.
